HAMILTON AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

For the second year in a row, the Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce will be an official host organization of the National Day of Prayer. This year’s event is Thursday, May 2, 2013, beginning just after 12 p.m., at the Hamilton City Hall Auditorium.

Seven pastors from Hamilton-area churches will share short messages of inspiration and lead the group in prayers for the city, county, state, nation, and world. Theme for the 2013 National Day of Prayer is “Pray for America.” The official verse is Matthew 12:21: “In His name the nations will put their hope.”

This event is open to the public, and everyone, especially church groups, is encouraged to attend. The program will last approximately 40 minutes to allow those who are working to attend during their lunch hour. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
