BREAKING NEWS! AL.’s First Lady Files For Divorce

leave a comment »

First Lady, Dianne Bentley, files for divorce this morning just hours before making an appearance with her husband, Governor, Robert Bentley.

WBRC website reported that Gov. Bentley and Dianne Bentley appeared together at a College Colors Day event around 10 a.m. at the Governor’s Mansion in Montgomery on Friday morning. The governor was wearing his wedding ring at the time.*

Read a PDF of the divorce filing here.]

The documents were filed at 9:24 a.m.. According to the filings, “The Plaintiff states there is such a complete incompatibility of temperament that the parties can no longer live together. There exists a conflict of personalities which destroys the legitimate aims of matrimony and all possibilities of reconciliation are futile. Plaintiff further avers that their marriage has suffered an irretrievable breakdown and that further attempts at reconciliation are impractical and not in the best interests of the parties.”**

Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

The Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce will once again host the Aggie Block Parties following home varsity football games this season!
This season’s Aggie Block Parties will take place on the “one-way” street from Leonelli’s Coffee Buzz 495-3500 to Toll Gate Cafe. Block parties will start at 9 p.m. and last until 12 midnight (weather permitting). Downtown merchants will also be participating by opening their doors to shoppers throughout the evenings.
Headlining the entertainment will be Bryan Williams and guests. Remember when a certain American Idol alum showed up unannounced last season? You never know who might just come to the Aggie Block Parties and perform for you!
We encourage families to come out together and celebrate the Aggies’ victories, grab a bite to eat after the game, shop with our merchants, and enjoy great post-game entertainment, and celebrate wins by our Aggies!
Aggies Block Parties schedule:
August 21 vs. Moody
August 28 vs. Sulligent
September 4 vs. Fayette
September 18 vs. Cordova (Homecoming)
October 16 vs. Danville
Come out and enjoy this great community event, support our downtown merchants, and support our Aggies! Please help us spread the word to everyone, including our neighboring communities. What a great way to bring people into our beautiful downtown area on Friday nights in the fall!
