Strawberry Festival Features Eclectic Mix of Performers

Moulton, Ala. (April 10, 2018) – The Strawberry Festival is pleased to announce the entertainment lineup at the 2018 event set for May 4-5 in downtown Moulton. This year’s event features country, gospel, oldies and folk performers, school bands and line dancers on two stages.

While the strawberry takes center stage, the Strawberry Festival features an eclectic mix of music representing a variety of genres and showcases the talents of local school bands and line dancers. Music gets underway on Friday, May 4th at 11 a.m. and runs all day. On Saturday, May 5th, the entertainment fires up at 9 a.m. and lasts until 7 p.m.

The 2018 Strawberry Festival is set for May 4-5, and along with live music, the family-friendly event offers free inflatable activities for kids, the Lawrence County Fire Fighters and Rapid Response Volunteers display, contests, a classic car/truck/motorcycle show and arts and crafts. Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 4 and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 5. Admission is free. Proceeds benefit the Jesse Owens Runners’ Club and local schools.

Approximately 10,000 attendees made their way to the 2017 event held on the square in downtown Moulton. To ensure another successful event, sponsorships are needed and are available for every business and individual with levels ranging from $50 to $1,000. Sponsors receive a comprehensive package of benefits including exposure leading up to and throughout the festival weekend and through social media. Booth space for arts and crafts, political campaigns, non-profit organizations, food vendors and other vendors is available. Rental fees range from $100 to $250 for a 10-by-12 booth for both days. Booth set-up begins at 6 a.m. Friday morning and must be complete before the start of the festival. Registration deadline to apply is April 28, 2018.
